categories, huge numbers of fans are expected to flock to the
Salou-based event from 8-11 November to show their support.

Sordo is set to enjoy significant following as he chases his maiden
world championship victory in a MINI John Cooper Works WRC run by the
British Prodrive concern. The Spaniard has finished on the podium in
Catalunya on five previous occasions and will be determined to put
frustrating runs in Germany and France behind him.
Albert Llovera,
from Andorra, makes his first start of 2013 in the Super 2000 World
Rally Championship, while Canary Islander Yeray Lemes and Spaniard Josep
Membrado have been handed wildcard entries for the Production Car World
Rally Championship where their rivals will include .
Argentina’s Marcos
Ligato, Peru’s Nicolas Fuchs and Mexicans Benito Guerra and Ricardo
Trivino.
Elsewhere, rising Spanish talent Jose Suarez (pictured)
will carry home hopes on his shoulders in the WRC Academy for identical
Ford Fiesta R2s.
RallyRACC-Rally de Espana gets underway with a
ceremonial start in Barcelona on the evening of Thursday 8 November.
Friday’s route features three all-gravel stages and three mixed-surface
runs. Saturday and Sunday’s action takes place entirely on Tarmac roads.
